The Art of Burning Food. Purposely.

We are kicking off the season with fire! Downwind Deck has teamed up with Chef Marcos to create a unique culinary experience.


The Request: We would like to learn how to cook something. Ideally, it would require some secrets or tricks of the trade. We could make tortillas and learn how to make the dough correctly. Is this type of "excursion" something you can help us setup?


Downwind Deck and Chef Marcos provided tortillas and more for 6 guests. The night was full of laughs, learnings and mouth watering flavors. Ceviche, Lobster, Fire Pit Grilled Beef, Tortillas and Sweet Crepes and much more (The full menu shown below).


For the tiny town of El Cuyo, this was a unique experience and a fantastic addition to the Downwind Deck services. Thank you to our guests for challenging us to provide a new experience. Thank you Chef Marcos @Marcos.at.work for crushing it!
