March 2-10, 2026 Kite Beach Photos
Nonstop wind action since February 28th has kept everyone on the water — and honestly left this photographer a little behind on posting photos. When the wind is blowing, it’s hard to choose between riding and sitting behind a screen.
This latest photo batch from March 2–10 captures a little bit of everything that makes riding in El Cuyo so special. From young groms charging hard and learning new tricks, to experienced kiteboarders, kitesurfers, and wing foilers making the most of the conditions, the beach has been buzzing with energy.
It seems like every day has been firing with 22+ knots, delivering powered sessions from late morning into sunset. The kind of wind that keeps the water full and the smiles even bigger. Watching the next generation of riders progress while seasoned riders push their limits makes every windy afternoon feel like a mini festival on the water.
After a long run of windy days, we’ve got a short rain delay in the forecast, but it looks like we’ll be right back to our regularly scheduled programming shortly after.
And honestly… a no-wind day isn’t a bad thing around here.
Those glassy conditions make for the perfect time to hop on an eFoil and cruise the coastline.
